Verified ReviewerLeaking Boat
No change, just more lip service telling me they couldn't find the leak, I spoke to "Jim", the general manager at the store where I bought the boat. Jim, and Mitchel before him, told me they were going to put the boat in the water, but that was a while ago, Jim (the GM) was about a week ago, and Mitchel was more than 2 weeks ago.
When I 1st started using this boat in the St John's River I noticed that it was taking on a lot of water.
I would turn on the Bilge Pump periodically and was concerned with the large amount of water that was being pumped out.
I did a Google search asking why my Tracker PRO175TF was taking on water and I was shocked to see page after page of people having a similar problem.
One of the biggest problems reported was leaks in the plumbing system for the 2 bait tanks. Rather than have to take the boat to the Service Department, I bought 4 plugs and plugged both of the intakes and discharge holes in the rear of the boat, and of course, I had the 5th plug in the bilge drain hole provided.
So, to be clear, I plugged all 5 holes in the back of the boat and if that had stopped the leak, I would have been satisfied. However, this did NOT stop the leak!
In my driveway, I jacked the front of the boat up as high as it would go and then filled the rear of the boat with water. I filled it to the point that I was sure the rear area of the boat was covered with water.
I then left it to sit for a few hours, periodically checking under the boat for signs of a leak. There was not 1 drop of water leaking from the rear of the boat.
The next time I put the boat in the river, with all 5 plugs still in place, I used the bilge pump approximately every 15b to 20 minutes. I was astonished at the amount of water that got pumped out. This was sitting still and level in the water.
I would give the boat some gas and when the bow raised, I would hit the pump again and sure enough, more water. When I finally got to the boat ramp, I pulled the boat part way up the ramp and took the bilge plug out. Even after using the bilge pump as I had, water drained out of the boat for over 3 minutes!
My boat is currently at the service center at 7021 Municipal Dr, Orlando, Florida. I have driven 35 miles to this center on 3 separate occasions because no one at the Service Center would answer their phone (407-248-****) or return my calls after I left them a message.
I have called more than 6 times and left messages but no one gets back to me.
Today, 05/28/2024 I drove down there again and relayed this same story to the 4th different person I was referred to. Nothing had been done to my boat, and no one could give me any information as to why it was taking on this huge amount of water!
Today I was told they were going to dip it in a lake somewhere and get back to me!
I am at my wit's end! This boat has been taking on a large amount of water every time I have ever put it in the water and today I am no closer to knowing not only why, but also what is going to be done about it!
Please call the number I provided and leave a message, because they will not answer the phone. Don't hold your breath waiting for them to get back to you, because they don't.
Every time I went to the Service Center and asked why they didn't answer the phone or return messages, I was told they were "short-staffed".
On June 4th the General Manager at Bass Pro Shops named Jim in Orlando, Fl called me at home at approximately 5:30 pm.
Jim told me that tomorrow, he and his Service Department team were going to have a meeting concerning my boat. He said he would call me again in the afternoon of June 5th and tell me what was going on.
He did not call.
These people have had my boat for 3 weeks now. I have explained in detail to no less than 5 people exactly what is happening with my boat.
This is a new boat!
I kept it covered with a boat cover and then parked it in a covered carport, now it sits in the sun and rain, uncovered, with all the hatches open. It poured rain here very hard the other day!

Verified Reviewer |Bought a boat with a bad console
I purchased a CC 1860 with a 90 Mercury on it and I have had the boat since May, and still have not replaced the console because the live well has holes in it. There are too many for a new boat.
I am just trying to get answers before seeking legal advice. Thanks, Louis Bickley.

Complaint
just bought a new 2024 bass buggy 18 dlx at flash marina on lake hopatcong in NJ. Very poor design on the built in rod holders in the storage boxes.
When it rains the rain water goes down the rod holder and into the storage box wetting the contents of the storage box. No thought went into this design flaw. Secondly the fuel gauge does not work. When the key is on the gauge needle pins all the way past full and never moves.
It does not work and dealer has not resolved the problem. Obviously there was no check list before delivering the neew boat.

Verified Reviewer |Terrible Product Warranty Non existent !! poor customer service ,,
Here is why you should never buy Nitro made boats, This boat is a 2020 Z21 Pro Series boat that cost 70k fully loaded, If I were to list all the problems I have had with this boat, there would not be enough room on this page to list it, so I am only going to list one the is very, very IMPORTANT to any Nitro bass boat owner or anyone considers buying one!! Earlier this year, I was having a Hydraulic Pump replaced on my Jack plate when the Mechanic to off my trim piece and Notice a Monster Crack and separation on my transom.
So I immediately took to my nearest Bass Pro Center which I will leave the name out because they did not have any say in the decision-making process of warrantying the boat,,,SO here the verdict,,,the warranty department DENIED my warranty claim because they said the aftermarket Transom saver I was using for the past 2 1/2 months caused the damage!!! That's right, a aftermarket transom saver caused 9k in damage!!! Now keep in mind I contacted the manufacture of the aftermarket transom saver and told him of their claim, and he was in SHOCK!! Especially since this manufacture was in close contact with the Nitro Warranty department during the development of this aftermarket transom saver!!!
This is the most obscured excuse I have ever heard of a Denial of Claim in my lifetime of owning Nitro boats for over 30 years Upgrading every 5. So now the 9K will have to come out of my own pocket to fix the boat!!! Let me repeat, the Nitro Warranty Department DENIED my claim of over 9K in damage on my boat because of a aftermarket transom saver they are blaming that caused this damage!!! I know anyone reading this knows better than to believe a Transom savor being used for 2 months would cause this damage!!!
Again I cant list every issue I have had because it's a long list,,,but I felt this was important enough to get out there for guys running aftermarket transom savers on theirs boats now!! Beware!!!
I also am not giving the name brand of the aftermarket Transom saver ,because I don't want to give them a bad reputation for something so Ludacris and to Nitro's Claims that their product damaged my boat!! NEVER BUY NITRO !!!

- Too many to list

Denied warranty coverage
Hull of tracker grizzly started to Crack. Dealer contacted warranty department and warranty denied it because of "improper trailering".
Tried calling warranty department and after 5 calls of getting no where gave up and had dealership contact them. Still denied claim. Dealership was great in trying to help but customer service was terrible at warranty department. Never once could I reach them to discuss.
They never reached out to me other than an email to dealership.
I will not be buying any more tracker products. Hope no one else does either.

Need battery info
I had a simple question regarding batteries for a bass tracker 2010 boat. I did not get any help from your company.
I was told to call Bass Pro Shop to which I replied I just call them before I called you.
The call to Bass Pro Shop was a complete waste of time just as my call to your company. So much for customer support!

Verified Reviewer |Question about my quad
So my quad was rebuilt in January. They had it from august until February and then on my first ride of only 67 miles the water pump goes out.
The quad only has 465 miles total. My problem is why wasnt that checked out when it was there for 6 months?
And why will tracker or the dealer not work with me on it. Ill be happy if they just give me the new water pump and Ill install it myself.

Very disatified with Tracker Marine and there dealer ship Boaters world in Lake Placid fla
Bought my second Tracker Pontoon boat here. My first in 1988 in Jax and now my 2021 in lake placid.
First was great the second a crap show beginning to end. When I bought the boat at boaters world I wanted to also get the camping canvas package after the boat arrived I was told they could not get one for it. I also wanted a galvanized trailer instead of the standard metal one it came with. They never could manage to do this either.
I managed to get both of these items at Cabela's in ft. Myers. I also ordered the boat with a 75 HP merc. but it came with a 60.
That was supposed to be no problem since they had a new 75 in the sop to put on it Worst event on this purchase is I never received my warranty paper work on the 75hp after tracing the engine model number at mercury I found out the engine had been purchased a year before I got it and the warranty was in another guys name. It also turned out the engine was manufactured in 2018. BW said it was just a paper work issue and they were able to get warranty changed over to me. That got done but as far as I'm concerned I got a used engine.
Now the last thing in this saga is I took it to them Tuesday morn for its 100 hr service. I was told it would take the 3 to 4 weeks to do it and I would be better off taking it to a Mercury dealer for service so I did and it took 3 hours to do.
I will never by another tracker boat from tracker let alone from BW. Zero stars!!!!

User's recommendation: Tracker Marine dosent hold there dealers responsible to maintain a good customer relation So tracker should be discounted as pace to buy a boat

Verified ReviewerTracker boat warranty
Hi, my name is Martin Lavoie
I am writing to you regarding a warranty claim : claim #118****, for the boat Tracker Combo Targa v18 2010, serial number BUJ23722F010.
Tracker's decision for this claim is to dont respect your warranty. The claim is for holes on the hull (supposedly lifetime warranty)
The holes are exactly in the same places on both sides, which clearly shows a construction defect, the interior cross members under the floor have pierced the hull.
Also my boat was part of a faulty lot, and I never claimed anything about this claim (paint and primer).
I was thinking of changing my boat for another Tracker, because of your bad warranty this plan is dead.
Your warranty is clear : For the entire life of your boat (if you're the original owner), we cover the hull, interior ribs, transom, exterior welds and decking I consider this advertising false
I would like to validate whether it would be possible to review your decision.
Waiting about your response
At the same time, I will validate the options available to me in terms of Quebec laws and especially on false advertising, because we have specific laws in terms of consumer protection, which allow us to simplify the process when it is a claim of less than 15,000 and less, without even needing to hire a lawyer.
I'm in several fishing groups, numbering several hundred members, I will explain to all your supposed lifetime warranty. Especially since my friends who own Princecraft have never had a problem with their warranties for the same kind of repair.
Preferred solution: BOAT HULL WARRANTY

Verified ReviewerNew boat leak
Hello,
Just letting you know we took new pontoon boat out for maiden trip and had great time. However, when we got home I noticed a leak out of the left pontoon tube coming through a poorly done weld from factory. I have two professional welders in family and 1 is well known for Chase field and Talking stick resort. He immediately identified the bad weld and you can clearly see the pin hole in welding. That is also where the water is dripping from giving it a dead giveaway.
The moisture in an air tight metal tube will start corrosion from within immediately and cannot be stopped once starts without special chemical treatment. Air drying will not allow that tube to be as stable as its counter partner now. It has been completely compromised. Drilling *** in tube to drain obviously will be another breach in tube causing even further comprised product making matter even worse.
This entire situation is beyond upsetting and stressful on all of us. This has upset our entire state of mind we were in as family. Buying a boat is a way of life that only small percentage of people get the privilege of experiencing. Your product has taken that from my family. I expect a call from a senior manager to explain how to make this right. Any manager from your Dobson location will not be accepted. I want someone from corporate to contact me.
I have been a Warranty Manager for new homes more than 10 years now. Americans work for 2 big thing in life. Home, being number 1, which I know warranties in and out and going up the chain of command more than anyone. Then there are numbers 2 and 3 such as new cars an maybe a boat. Point is I will lot let this go with just a repair. I will get an extended warranty passed the 10 year weld warranty or a new left tube installed on my boat.
Please send this to the appropriate person based on my request and get back to me as soon as possible.
Side note----- Rose, Tori, Cole,Mike all told me I would get a $650 GIFT CARD TO SPENT AT LOCATION. I ASKED SPECIFICALLY ABIUT THE 16" BASS BUGGY AND THEY SAID YES. TURNED OUT TO BE LIE FROM EACH OF THEM!!! DURING CLOSING WAS WHEN THE BALL DROPPED ABOUT NOT GETTING IT. I TOLD TORI I WANT TO TALK TO MANAGER BUT ONE WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD ASK ABOUT IT. STILL HEARD NOTHING. THE ONLY TRUTHFUL EMPOYEE YOU HAD WAS SEAN.

Stressful process
I recently purchased a Tahoe 450ts from you Bass Pro in Portage Indiana and the business end of it was the worst experience I ever went through on a major purchase and definitely was not expecting that from Bass Pro.
It started out with me forgetting my bank check for the boat at home and I was 10 minutes away from the store when I realized it after driving 1 hour 10 minutes from Plainfield Illinois. I then called the boat center explaining my bone head error and told the gentleman that I will be an hour or a little more late and he said hopefully she doesn't have another appointment.
I replied I understand if she does just let me know otherwise I am going home and coming back immediately. I never heard back so I ran in the house and headed back to Portage Indiana, needless to say our stress level and anxiety were at highs knowing the traffic we encountered the first trip. We arrive at the boat center at 12:15 and a salesman met us and said to have a seat he will find the business manager. We stood there for 20 minutes right outside her door and she proceeded in her office and went on the phone so we waited.
At 10 minutes til 1, I went to her door and told her who I was and apologized for being so late. The reply was "oh yeah ok well I have a 1:00pm appointment so I'll have to do yours after just wait over there". I asked if there was anyone else that can help me or another plan I mean I just drove 3 hours to get here and I can't wait that long? In an uncaring tone my answer was "no".
I was a second from cancelling the deal and told her that and she asked for my card to refund my deposit. So right there I knew my business with Bass Pro is unappreciated. I then demanded the manager of the store who I guess was off so someone else came over. I was very upset and took it out on him and was at a point of just leaving the store with no boat.
I kept asking him what time was it? At this point I've been there for 50 minutes and the business end of it could have been done but he nor her would acknowledge that. After a lengthy conversation it was now 1:10p and amazingly there was no 1 o'clock appointment. I pointed that out to the manager and just like that i was processed through.
I did not even feel comfortable asking questions as I felt I was pushed through with all the dramatics. The manager stood over me as if I was a threat watching me. In my opinion the Business Manager was upset that I missed my 11am apt and was punishing me for that and that there was no 1pm apt as I think the sales person would have called me back as I asked.
This was the worst experience I ever went through, especially spending $30,000.00. I received a VIP card which you guys can keep as I will never set foot through your doors again.
I was hesitant on using you guys to buy a boat and wanted to use a boat dealer, I guess I should have followed my gut. I have spent a lot of money at your stores over the years and enjoyed taking my grand daughter there, but in todays world I guess being a "customer" doesn't matter. The best part of the experience was the gentleman in the boat service going over the boat before I left.
Actually, there were two back there and they were perfect, and very detailed and know how a customer should be treated. You should have your business manager follow them through there checkpoint procedures.
- No pros
- Poor customer service
User's recommendation: Do not buy a boat via Bass Pro

I have a 220FC pontoon. The motor pod hangs down 3" below the deck.
Pontoons shoot water into motor pod, dragging boat down into water and over fuel tank. Also shot water up the deck hole for the battery cables. This water flooded the battery compartment and battery charger. Ranger had diverter flashing for the motor pod installed, which extends just past the hole and then 90 degrees behind it.
Now it acts as a backstop to divert even more water up the hole. The excess water in the motor pod is fixed, but now I have a flowing river on the deck if I drive the boat. They still have not fixed it or the seats that have seams busting apart.
This boat has 8 hours on it. I am going to sue if they dont fix it by May.
