Tracker Marine Group - Don't buy from Marine Group
WOW - just bought a new Sun Tracker Bass Buggy and 2 months after owning it a recall comes out. Now, we are supposed to pull boat out of the water, travel 3 hours each way for a 1 hour repair.
Notices came out from corproate and the dealers don't even have the parts yet! Should have paid more attention and saw that White River Marine Group is also associated with MAKO - another company that doesn't stand behind their boats! Corporate says the dealer will come to the marina to fix, but the dealer doesn't want to travel the 3 hours to the marina to fix the problem. Why would they say that when it isn't even true?
Why don't these manufacturers provide the public with vessels or vehicles that don't need a recall. Recall is because they obviously cut corners somewhere.
Sorry we purchased this boat now. Also, dealer was very friendly when you are there to buy, and aren't so friendly after you leave with your purchase.
Reason of review: want boat fixed at their inconvenience.
Monetary Loss: $20000.
Preferred solution: send over an authorized factory representative the 3 hours to the marina to fix their defective workmanship.
Tracker Marine Group Cons: Poor customer service.
Location: 2500 E Kearney St, Springfield, MO 65803, USA

Brought my Bass Buggy 18 to the dealer for the 20 hour break in service on a Saturday.Come back the next Saturday to pick it up and make the 2 hour trip back to the home. Monday at noon I have the recall notice in the mail , these people had to know this was on a recall but didn't bother to say a *** thing.
